The successful candidate will participate in coordinating the operations of the housekeeping department and support the housekeepers in fulfilling their daily duties.

What you will do

• Supervise the housekeeping staff: ensure that work is performed according to the prescribed standards and methods;
• In collaboration with the reception team, coordinate the arrivals and departures of guests;
• Coordinate and assign tasks to the employees of the housekeeping department;
• Conduct room inspections and make necessary touch-ups;
• Report any irregularities regarding the condition of the rooms;
• Participate in the training and development of employees;
• Perform, if necessary, functions that fall under the purview of supervised employees.

What you need to succeed

• Have experience in a similar position;
• Be comfortable in a team leadership role;
• Have a sense of organization and attention to detail;
• Be able to use basic administrative software (Word, Excel, Outlook);
• Be comfortable in English, as you will be in contact with English-speaking guests;
• Be familiar with the *Mews* hotel management system (an asset);
• Be available to work weekends and holidays.
