Place Valleyfield is a complex for autonomous retirees.

We are currently looking for a cook to join our kitchen team. The position is for 32 hours per week, including 1 weekend out of 3.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food following appropriate methods to comply with safety, quality, hygiene, and sanitation rules and standards;
• Follow food service directives and standards;
• Assist in executing meal service in the kitchen;
• Help organize food orders in appropriate places;
• Participate in kitchen cleaning tasks;
• Collaborate with other employees to maintain a pleasant work environment;
• Perform any other related tasks.

Job Requirements

• Experience in the hospitality or food service industry (asset);
• Training in food hygiene and sanitation (asset);
• Good oral French proficiency;
• Attention to detail, reliability, and good priority management;
• Adaptability;
• Team spirit;
• Customer-focused approach.
