(CAN) General Merchandise and Fashion Section Leader

Position Summary...

To assist in the leadership of General Merchandise and Fashion Associates and department processes through partnership with the General Merchandise and Fashion Assistant Manager and ensure a high level of customer service and while ensuring task completion.

What you'll do...

Provide excellent customer service by greeting all customers politely and courteously, assist customers in promoting products and services, spot merchandise and make purchasing decisions, resolve customer issues and forward concerns, if necessary.

Help provide instructions and coordinate tasks while respecting priorities established by the Assistant General Merchandise and Fashion Manager and the branch management team.

Evaluate the overall presentation of merchandise and the appearance of General Merchandise and Fashion sections while noting weaknesses to correct. Implement changes on display fixtures, as needed.

Delegate, assist, and follow up on the completion of tasks in the Customer Availability Process (CAP).

Help establish schedules, as needed.

Assign associates who will assist with tasks related to customer availability in all sections of the store.

Participate in the training and development of General Merchandise and Fashion associates and provide feedback, as needed.

Contribute to a safe, clean, and obstacle-free work environment by following Company directives and procedures, including completing safety sweep logs and confirming that display fixtures are secured and debris-free.

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $21.85.
