Key Information

Location : 125 rue d'Anvers, ... QC G3A 1S5

Hours : Monday to Friday, from 5:30 AM until the end of deliveries (usually between 3 PM and 5 PM)

Salary : Starting at $30.68/hour (rate and a half after 40 hours)

Annual Bonus : Potentially up to $3,000

Status : Permanent | Full-time

Your Role

As a Class 1 Driver-Delivery Person , you play a crucial role in the delivery operations of construction materials to residential and commercial construction sites in the greater Quebec area. You drive a 12-wheel truck with a trailer and use an articulated crane (boom) and other specialized equipment to ensure safe deliveries (training provided internally). In collaboration with your assistant driver, you coordinate and actively participate in unloading and handling various materials, including drywall panels. You primarily work outdoors and proudly represent Lefebvre & Benoit by providing professional, courteous, and attentive service to our customers.

Your Daily Tasks

• Drive a Class 1 truck and safely deliver construction materials to residential and commercial construction sites in the greater Quebec area and surrounding regions
• Maintain the basic upkeep and cleanliness of your vehicle
• Work on loading when weather conditions require it
• Ensure the safety of delivery maneuvers on construction sites
• Operate an articulated crane (boom) to unload materials (training provided internally)
• Form a true team with your assistant driver to ensure safe, efficient, and excellent service on construction sites
• Handle drywall panels and various construction materials
• Verify that the quantities delivered match the purchase orders
• Provide courteous and professional customer service

What We Are Looking For

• Hold a valid Class 1 driver's license (mandatory)
• Have relevant experience in material delivery or handling
• Possess an ASP Construction card (an asset)
• Be familiar with construction materials or have a strong interest in the field (an asset)
• Be comfortable performing physical work, including handling and lifting loads that can reach 50 lb throughout the day
• Enjoy working outdoors, in all seasons
• Be available for a morning work schedule and willing to work overtime when needed
• Appreciate teamwork and collaboration on construction sites
• Have good communication skills and provide quality customer service
• Demonstrate autonomy, reliability, and a strong sense of responsibility
