INFORMATION SECURITY MANAGER (ISM)

Description

We are looking for an Information Security Manager (ISM) to join our team of advisors at our Montreal office as a permanent position.

This position is hybrid. 2 days/week at the Montreal office

As an advisor/consultant for Chrome Technologies, the candidate will intervene with our clients in the realization of the projects entrusted to them.

As a senior information security manager within a technological foundations program, you will play a key role as a security advisor to IT teams and business partners, with a primarily architecture-oriented security focus and a security risk and third-party evaluation focus.

Your mission will be to ensure compliance with security governance requirements and security measures in the delivery of projects, service requests, and operations. You will formulate recommendations to guide the development and implementation of initiatives with high operational and conceptual complexity, relying on your expertise to frame and influence the organization's security practices.

Your leadership, adaptability, and collaborative spirit will be essential to accompany stakeholders and promote industry best practices.

Tasks

• With expertise in Security Architecture, Security Governance, and Delivery Management, the Information Security Manager (ISM) intervenes in the context of strategic projects, complex mandates, and business application development activities.
• As a SI advisor and expert, you will advise and support your clients and partners in positioning, planning, developing, selecting appropriate solutions, implementing, and following up on various projects and mandates under your responsibility
• Work closely with solution architecture and integration advisors to identify, implement, and monitor security requirements in projects
• Take responsibility for the iterative documentation of security requirements and measures applicable to projects in collaboration with architecture advisors.
• Plan, write, and present security risk analyses.
• Ensure compliance with security policies, standards, and guidelines in projects and applications
• Take action with the sector when a project is out of compliance to find an effective solution and improve the security posture
• Target and analyze major issues and challenges.
• Establish diagnostics and make recommendations to the relevant parties.
• Represent the organization's position in agreements with external partners or organizations

Requirements

• A minimum of six years of relevant experience in the field of Information Technology and/or Information Security or any other related field
• Experience as a security architecture advisor or similar role is an asset
• Experience in an influential role
• Knowledge of French is necessary. Advanced English proficiency is required due to the nature of the tasks, work tools, or interactions with anglophone partners, members, and clients
