We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Shipping & Receiving Responsible. The main responsibilities of this role will include managing inbound and outbound shipments, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring timely delivery of goods.

Your key responsibilities will include

• Determining the shipping method and making the necessary arrangements; preparing loading notes, customs documents, invoices, and other shipping documents, either manually or electronically;
• Assembling boxes, envelopes, or pallets of merchandise, recording the contents manually or electronically, packaging items for shipment as needed, and affixing identification labels and shipping instructions;
• Supervising the loading and unloading of items onto trucks or other vehicles;
• Reviewing and verifying items against invoices or other documentation, noting missing items, and returning damaged items;
• Unpack, code, and distribute items to the appropriate storage locations;
• Manage internal manual or computerized record-keeping systems;
• Operate a forklift, hand truck, or other equipment needed to load, unload, transport, or store items;
• Perform other duties such as assisting with production and setting up various promotional displays.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• High school diploma (or equivalent);
• Forklift operator's license (an asset);
• Excellent physical condition, able to lift heavy loads occasionally (up to 70 lbs);
• Knowledge of imperial (feet, inches) and metric (meter, centimeter, millimeter) measurements;
• Lighting experience (an asset);
• Reliability, diligence, and punctuality;
• Resourcefulness, versatility, organization, and autonomy;
• Ability to learn quickly;
• Proficiency with computer tools (Microsoft Office Suite, Asana, FM, and others);
• Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines;
