Front Desk Agent (Weekend)

We are a new Quality Inn hotel, affiliated with the Choice banner, located in Quebec. We are looking for dynamic and welcoming people to join us.

Role description

• Schedule: Part-time: Saturday and/or Sunday either from 7h - 15h or 15h - 23h

Under the supervision of the Operations Director, the candidate sought is welcoming, warm and professional, he has an open and empathetic attitude towards the customer. He is naturally inclined towards details and his excellent sense of customer service allows him to offer a memorable service to our guests.

• Experience in hotel reception is preferred!

Main responsibilities

• Welcome and provide exceptional service to our guests;
• Take telephone calls and route them;
• Take reservations by phone;
• Provide information and information about the hotel and the surrounding area to customers;
• Transmit special requests from customers that could not be processed by the front desk agent who takes over;
• Communicate with the different internal teams (Housekeeping, Maintenance, etc.) to coordinate the hotel operations;
• Ensure that the customers' stays go perfectly;
• Perform any other related tasks with enthusiasm.

Desired profile

• Training in hospitality and/or customer service;
• Available to work from 7h to 15h;
• Knowledge of a hotel management software (choice Advantage, an asset);
• Mastery of French and English, spoken and written;
• Able to manage unexpected situations in a creative and professional way;
• Concern for detail;
• Excellent analytical spirit
• Good knowledge of the Suite Office;
• Positive attitude and excellent communicator;
• Excellent customer service sense;
• Knowledge of the Quebec region and tourist attractions;
• Neat appearance.
