Team Lead Carpenter

Job Summary: Under the responsibility of the site superintendent, the carpenter / team lead is responsible for executing various carpentry work and is also responsible for all daily activities at the site of a team of 2-4 carpenters, all related to turnkey construction projects, and this, in collaboration with the site superintendent, the technical design team, the clients, the suppliers and the subcontractors.

Main Responsibilities

• Carpentry: interior system, prefabricated wall, various work
• Supervises, coordinates and plans the daily tasks of a team of 2-4 carpenters.
• Prepares the work schedule in collaboration with the site superintendent
• Resolves problems at the site to make the project progress adequately
• Our projects are generally located in the Montreal region and the south/north shore. Occasionally, our projects may be located outside these regions and the candidate may be called upon to travel to complete these projects.

Required Qualifications

• CCQ Master Carpenter certification
• Knowledge of the commercial / institutional / industrial construction field or interior systems
• Good aptitude in French, both oral and written (English: asset)
• Mastery of technological tools related to construction projects such as the Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, TEAM, etc.) and Procore/Smartuse/ACC.
