Fiscal Quality Assurance Analyst (Internship)

SUMMARY

You will work within the team responsible for the quality of the content and the integrity of the calculations of the tax applications shipped to our clients. In close collaboration with the tax specialists, you will verify the accuracy of the new specifications implemented in the application due to new budgets and changes in laws. You will also verify that the calculations comply with tax laws and suggest changes to the application to better meet the needs of our clients.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Using guides and tax law, perform fiscal quality control related to the tax subjects assigned to you, in collaboration with the development team members.
• Review the computer code to detect anomalies related to conditions.
• Design and update tax tests in collaboration with tax specialists.
• Enter tax tests.
• As needed by the tax support team, get involved with clients after the launch of a software on the market by taking direct calls or conducting research when calculation problems occur.

SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS

• Proficiency in computing and mastery of intermediate Excel functions (macros).
• Ability to read in English.
• Ability to work effectively in a team.

• Ease of communication.
• Availability to work overtime during version releases.
