We have diverse expertise and a range of services in various disciplines of the building, infrastructure, transportation, mining, and environmental sectors. Your Role
- Participate in client meetings to understand their needs and define project objectives;
- Contribute to the preparation of service proposals and the establishment of project scopes;
- Assume a technical coordination role and lead small design teams;
- Participate in the training of CPIs and technicians;
- Design municipal infrastructures, including:
- + Sewer and water supply networks;
- + Water reservoirs and potable water distribution;
- + Residential, commercial, and industrial developments;
- + Various works on mining sites;
- + Exterior landscaping and connection to municipal building project services;
- + Stormwater management works;
- Perform technical calculations and define required design parameters;
- Participate in the production of plans, technical estimates, and tender documents;
- Write technical reports and opinions related to mandates;
- Coordinate site supervision activities and monitor construction progress;
- Ensure communication and follow-up with various stakeholders (clients, contractors, partners, authorities);
- Conduct site visits and participate in follow-up meetings;
- Contribute to the development of CPI and technician skills, including mentoring and training;
- Adhere to health and safety rules and procedures, as well as work incident prevention, for employees and the environment. Additionally, with a continuous improvement mindset, be proactive in enhancing health, safety, and environmental rules and procedures to prevent potential hazards related to your work.
About You
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or construction engineering;
- Member of the OIQ;
- Minimum 5 years of experience in engineering consulting;
- Valid Class 5 driver's license;
- Organizational and planning skills;
- Ability to work in a team;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel);
- Travel to various sites in Northern Quebec is required.
