As a Project Coordinator within the Civil & Infrastructure division of Pomerleau, you will play a key role at the heart of the Deep Foundations business unit. You will manage various activities and schedules to gain a clearer understanding of the client's, team's, and project's needs. Working on large-scale construction projects - ranging from $1.5 million to over $1 billion - you will play a crucial role in communicating with stakeholders, ensuring resource availability, and overseeing various administrative tasks.
What you will do
- Assist the project team with your keen sense of detail by ensuring project coordination and administrative support.
- Leverage your passion for customer service by ensuring good communication with team members, business partners, consultants, and clients.
- Review, interpret, and update our construction schedules with diligence.
- Leverage your passion for organization by ensuring the maintenance, review, and tracking of shop drawings, information requests, material purchase orders, change order estimates, and project close-out documents.
- Review, collect, and analyze project estimates meticulously, seeking the best market prices.
- Ensure the collection and completion of enterprise-wide project reports for the projects you are assigned.
- Be a model for the application of project-specific safety standards by helping to promote Pomerleau's health and safety programs, applicable laws, regulations, and codes regarding health and safety at work to all employees and on-site partners.
- This position is for you if you have
- Approximately 1 to 3 years of professional experience in the construction industry.
- A university degree, technical diploma in engineering, or a combination of training and experience in the sector.
- Experience in project coordination and collaboration with project teams.
- A passion for providing exceptional customer service.
- Geographic mobility to work on projects in remote regions, as needed operationally.
