As an electromechanical technician, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain mechanical, electrical, and automated systems on cutting-edge equipment. If you enjoy hands-on mechanical work, problem-solving, and working with modern technologies, this role will offer you continuous technical development in a modern food production environment.
Responsibilities
- You contribute to achieving the company's objectives through the following actions:
- Apply and promote safety standards for yourself and your colleagues
- Propose performance improvement initiatives
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automation issues
- Respond to emergencies and provide technical support to production and other departments
- Develop expertise on cutting-edge equipment
- Program basic PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and perform troubleshooting
- Solve complex technical problems
- Perform preventive maintenance on key equipment
- Required Skills and Qualifications
We are looking for a person who will
- Hold a college diploma in Industrial Controls, Instrumentation and Control, or a related field, or have equivalent training and experience
- Have practical experience in mechanical and electrical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair
- Propose solutions and appreciate a dynamic and hands-on work environment
- Manage priorities and multitask effectively
- Demonstrate initiative and perseverance in the face of challenges
- Make quick and informed decisions
- Desired qualifications:
- Experience in industrial manufacturing (food = asset)
- Knowledge of French and/or English
- Salary
- Starting salary of $31.43/h and can go up to $38.28/h depending on experience
- Schedule
- Day shift:
- Tuesday to
- Friday from 2:30
- PM to 1:00 AM (4x10h)
- Night shift:
- Monday to
- Thursday from 10:00
- PM to 8:30 AM (4x10h)
