Chicken House Maintenance Assistant

We are seeking a Chicken House Maintenance Assistant who will travel to our farms to perform activities related to chicken house maintenance, milking, and occasionally, manure removal. This is a 40-hour per week position from Monday to Thursday.

Your responsibilities

• Prepare the chicken house for the removal of hens and roosters (breaking);
• Assist in the complete maintenance of installations in the chicken houses;
• Assist in the installation of rooster pens (replacing the walls);
• Assist in redoing the suspension of lines;
• Transport wooden pallets (65 to 75 lb);
• Detect defective materials;
• Perform minor repairs on equipment;
• Paint poles and planks;
• Replace barriers;
• Place drawers and mats;
• Drive the company vehicle;
• Follow health, safety, and biosafety rules;
• Perform any other related tasks.

• A valid driver's license *(required);
• Excellent physical condition;
• A resourceful, autonomous, and diligent spirit;
• Ability to work under pressure.
