Product Coordinator & Standardization

Bonneville Industries, a 65-year leader in the prefabricated housing industry, is seeking a Product Coordinator & Standardization to join its headquarters in Beloeil. The selected individual will contribute to the evolution of Bonneville's modular knowledge and support various departments in resolving product-related technical issues.

Your daily impact

• Lead and coordinate continuous improvement and standardization projects, ensuring the tracking of multiple files simultaneously
• Take charge of technical issues raised by internal teams
• o Analyze the problem
• o Document the options
• o Propose applicable solutions for the factory and construction site
• Analyze ongoing project plans and estimates to ensure compliance with Bonneville's modular construction standards and propose adjustments or improvements
• Coordinate exchanges with external technical professionals and resources (engineers, architects, laboratories) within the framework of analyses or technical advice
• Conduct technical and regulatory research (building code, applicable standards) and derive concrete implications for our construction methods
• Read and analyze technical documents, test reports, or expert opinions and extract applicable best practices for Bonneville
• Evaluate innovative products or methods on the market and produce analyses on their relevance, feasibility, and real added value for our operations
• Create technical drawings (Revit), details, and standard plans within the framework of optimization or standardization projects
• Provide occasional drawing support for other team members

Your expertise

• Technical or university training in engineering, architecture, construction technology, or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
• Proficiency in Revit software and ease with technical drawing computer tools
• Knowledge of building codes and regulations in force (Quebec, required, and Ontario, asset)
• Ability to read plans and estimates
• Technical knowledge in wood structure and construction site
• Computer skills (MS Office Suite, etc.)
• Bilingualism (French/English), both oral and written

Working conditions

• Permanent, full-time position
• Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
• Salary based on experience
