As a dispatcher, you are responsible for planning, coordinating, and tracking daily operations related to deliveries, harvests, and service interventions, as well as ensuring optimal use of internal resources, guaranteeing customer satisfaction, and ensuring the smoothness of internal and external operations.

Your daily tasks:

• Plan and optimize routes for internal drivers, including deliveries, harvests, and service calls.
• Maximize the use of internal resources (drivers, technicians, equipment) and control the volume of activities.
• Optimize routes according to priorities, operational constraints, and weather conditions.
• Manage external suppliers, including rate negotiation, operation tracking, and wait time control.
• Analyze and challenge order volumes to identify efficiency opportunities.
• Ensure tracking with drivers and ensure delivery deadlines are met using available tools.
• Collaborate with the customer service to validate order accuracy and communicate unexpected events.
• Respond to customer requests proactively, professionally, and ensure follow-up on commitments.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams (drivers, technicians, branches) to coordinate priorities and urgencies.
• Perform administrative tasks: data entry in the TMS, documentation, external billing management, operational reports, and bid management.
• Your profile:
• Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in a similar role.
• Excellent communication and organization skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Good ability to manage stress.
• Strong customer orientation.
• Good knowledge of computer tools and TMS systems.
• Ability to analyze situations and make quick decisions.
• Knowledge of the Geotab geolocation software (an asset).
