Under the direction of the General Director, the chef cook is responsible for preparing, cooking, and portioning food according to the menu approved by the nutritionist. The person must have the ability to manage and organize the work of the kitchen assistants.

Responsibilities

• Organize the preparation of the day's meals and manage different particularities (allergies/textures).
• Collaborate with the management regarding food supply and inventory management.
• Validate the quality of the delivered food.
• Guide the kitchen assistants in their work to highlight the strengths of each.
• Ensure that MAPAQ measures are well applied by all employees in the kitchen.
• Manage leftovers and renew recipes when possible.
• Is responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance of their work area and the equipment used.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards as well as those related to hygiene and cleanliness.

• Several mechanisms are in place to facilitate the work of all and avoid errors.

• Monday to Friday 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
