DESCRIPTION

Exclusive subsidiary of the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec, CDPQ Infra acts as a client and contractor for major public infrastructure projects. We are responsible for all phases of the projects: design, planning, financing, project development, procurement strategy, implementation, and operations.

CDPQ Infra is particularly responsible for the deployment of the Réseau express métropolitain (REM) in Greater Montreal and the implementation of the TramCité project in Quebec City. CDPQ Infra is also a member of the Cadence group, which won the federal government's request for proposals for the high-speed train project Alto in the Quebec-Toronto corridor.

Summary of the role

Working within the Operations Vice-Presidency.

Main responsibilities

• Centralize and ensure the reliability of asset data by developing a consolidated asset database for the REM;
• Define and collect from various internal teams the general, functional, technical, and financial characteristics of the assets;
• Define and collect from the maintenance contractor (GPMM) the useful data from maintenance to identify asset maintenance needs;
• Create and document all fields of the database and structure the information with the objective of managing the assets throughout their lifecycle;
• Search, consult, and analyze existing documentation through electronic document management systems as well as infrastructure management systems, including the REM project engineering documents and real estate deeds;
• Update the real estate information on all land parcels and real estate rights held by the REM.

Profile requirements

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering;
• Skills: leadership, initiative, diligence, communication skills, analytical thinking, and organizational skills.
