Corporate Quality Assurance Technician

Aliments Sofina Inc. is currently seeking a Corporate Quality Assurance Technician for a maternity leave replacement position at our Lévis offices. Reporting to the Regulatory Compliance Manager, the incumbent plans, coordinates, and executes activities related to reference data for all plants in Quebec, Ontario, and Manitoba.

More specifically, the incumbent of the position

• Coordinates the creation, modification, validation, and deactivation of quality system document data, ensuring their compliance and quality;
• Implements rigorous quality control mechanisms (KPIs, corrective action plans) to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of the quality system;
• Harmonizes the management of enterprise quality documents;
• Develops, creates, and modifies finished product codes in product management systems;
• Actively participates in technological transformation projects by contributing to the preparation, conversion, and transition of master data to more modern systems;
• Collaborates and participates in the development of products and processes;
• Collaborates and participates in department projects;
• Participates in technical support for plants and other departments.

Required Qualifications

• Hold a DEC in food transformation or another related diploma in food transformation;
• Have 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in the field in a manufacturing environment (using an ERP ideally JDE, an asset);
• Have a strong analytical capacity, rigor, and attention to detail;
• Master the following computer tools: Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint);
• Possess in-depth knowledge of GED, MDM;
• Have advanced English proficiency, as the incumbent will work with the Ontario team;
• Must be able to communicate daily with our internal collaborators across the country.
