Title: Director, Supply Chain Optimization

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Director, Supply Chain Optimization, to lead initiatives aimed at improving supply chain and procurement processes within North America Shared Services (NASS). In this role, you will leverage technology, data analytics, and continuous improvement methodologies to optimize processes, enhance system performance, and increase operational efficiency on key platforms such as SAP, Coupa, and enterprise analytics tools.

In close collaboration with multidisciplinary stakeholders, you will develop and implement scalable solutions, strengthen governance and compliance practices, and contribute to building a more integrated, efficient, and high-performing supply chain organization, generating sustainable value for the company.

Specifically, you will be responsible for:

Directing enterprise-wide and site-specific supply chain optimization and process standardization initiatives, establishing uniform, efficient, and scalable ways of working.

Optimizing SAP and Coupa ecosystems by improving process integration, automation, data quality, transaction accuracy, user adoption, and system efficiency.

Establishing and maintaining normalized operational governance frameworks, policies, controls, and procedures (SOPs) that promote compliance, accountability, consistency, and continuous improvement.

Managing supplier governance programs, including integration, compliance, and performance management of strategic and critical suppliers and contractors.

Developing performance management frameworks, including key performance indicators (KPIs), dashboards, and analytics to generate actionable insights into supply chain performance, risks, and improvement opportunities.

Overseeing digital transformation, automation, and process improvement initiatives aimed at simplifying operations, strengthening controls, and generating measurable business value.

Leading change management and capability development initiatives through stakeholder engagement, communication, training, coaching, documentation, and practice communities.

Collaborating with senior leaders to align supply chain priorities with production, asset reliability, risk management, and global business objectives, while ensuring measurable benefits are tracked and communicated.

Do you have what it takes?

Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, commerce, engineering, or a related discipline.

Over 10 years of leadership experience in supply chain transformation, procurement optimization, or procurement operations, ideally in the mining, metallurgical, heavy industrial, or another complex operational environment.

Demonstrated experience in integrating and optimizing ERP systems and procurement digital platforms, preferably SAP and Coupa, particularly in process automation, data quality, and system efficiency.

Demonstrated experience in supply chain governance, compliance, and process control in a regulated or complex industrial environment.

Advanced expertise in data analytics, reporting, and performance management, with the ability to transform data into actionable insights and measurable operational improvements.

In-depth understanding of end-to-end supply chain operations, including strategic procurement, contract management, warehousing, inventory optimization, and procurement operations.

Demonstrated experience in leading digital transformation, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives across multiple sites or in a global operations model.

Strategic leader with a strong commercial orientation, capable of translating business priorities into operational results, aligning stakeholders from diverse functions, and fostering a performance-driven culture.

Seasoned manager engaged in mentoring, succession planning, and developing high-performing teams, recognized for integrity, sound judgment, and professionalism in complex industrial environments.

Travel: Up to 25% of the time may be spent on travel, primarily to operational sites located in Eastern Canada.

Languages: Advanced English proficiency, both oral and written, is required. French proficiency is also required.

Location: Corporate office in Laval, 5 days per week.
