Make your mark within the Taxation group as a tax analyst. This diverse team of professionals develops customized tax strategies in a complex and dynamic regulatory environment. As a trusted advisor, you will develop solutions to help our clients comply with tax requirements and financial reporting obligations, mitigate risks, gain efficiency, and maximize their return.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the completion of tax compliance mandates for companies (review of tax returns).
• Collaborate on tax mandates.
• Prepare basic tax reorganizations.
• Correspond with clients and various government agencies to resolve tax compliance issues.
• Conduct simple technical research, analyze it, and communicate the findings.
• Participate in the development of internal tax training.

Skills and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or law, plus a master's degree in taxation (or equivalent).
• Experience in a firm, an asset.
• Possess knowledge of research using specialized tax and other databases.
• This position may require travel.
