• YOUR NEXT CHALLENGES:
• Procurement Management:
• Identify the company's needs for indirect goods and services and translate them into clear specifications. Evaluate potential suppliers and select those offering the best conditions in terms of quality, cost, and delivery time.
• Contractual Negotiations:
• Conduct negotiations with suppliers to obtain favorable purchasing conditions, such as competitive prices, favorable payment terms, and quality guarantees. Ensure compliance of contracts with applicable regulations and company policies.
• Supplier Relationship Management:
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with selected suppliers. Monitor supplier performance in terms of quality, delivery times, and after-sales service. Identify improvement opportunities and resolve any issues related to suppliers.
• Cost Optimization:
• Continuously seek opportunities for cost savings and cost reduction without compromising the quality of purchased goods and services. Implement purchase optimization initiatives, such as order consolidation, specification standardization, and supplier rationalization.
• Data and Report Management:
• Collect and analyze data related to indirect purchases, including expenses, supplier performance, and key performance indicators (KPIs). Prepare regular reports on purchasing activities, realized savings, and overall performance.

Qualifications

• THE EXPERTISE WE ARE LOOKING FOR TO TAKE US FURTHER:
• 2 to 5 years of experience in the field.
• In-depth knowledge of procurement techniques, contractual negotiations, and procurement regulations.
• Proficiency in computer tools, including purchase management software (ERP - Oracle Netsuite) and spreadsheets for data analysis.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions based on the company's objectives.
• Strong time management skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in French and English (written/spoken) (frequent contacts outside Quebec).
• Dynamic, rigorous, and committed to continuous improvement.
• Knowledge of the electronics domain (an asset)
