Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a CPI in bridges and civil engineering works to join our engineering design team. This position will be based in Montreal. The ideal profile is someone holding a CPI status or admissible to obtain it, with a strong interest in bridges, transportation structures, and civil engineering works. In this role, you will contribute to the design, evaluation, rehabilitation, and implementation of structures related to transportation infrastructure, bridges, culverts, and related civil works.

As part of a dynamic and high-performing team, this position will allow you to contribute to a variety of bridge and civil engineering works projects, including the following activities:
- Support engineers in the design and analysis of bridges, culverts, retaining walls, and other civil engineering works;
- Participate in the preparation of design calculations, sketches, technical notes, and structural option comparisons;
- Contribute to the preparation and review of plans, estimates, and technical documents related to transportation infrastructure;
- Support project engineers in the evaluation, inspection, rehabilitation, and strengthening of existing structures;
- Conduct research on codes, standards, and regulatory requirements applicable to bridges and civil engineering works;
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate structural requirements into civil and transportation projects;
- Participate, as needed, in technical follow-up during the construction phase, including responses to contractor questions and review of alternative solutions under supervision;
- Document assumptions, analysis results, and technical recommendations for project engineers and mandate managers.
What you will bring to the team
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or structural engineering; a master's degree is an asset;
- CPI status, or admissibility to obtain CPI status with the Order of Engineers of Quebec;
- 0 to 2 years of experience in structural engineering, ideally in projects related to bridges, civil engineering works, or transportation infrastructure;
- Strong interest in the design, evaluation, and rehabilitation of existing and new structures;
- Practical knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, AutoCad, Adobe Acrobat;
- Practical knowledge of Bluebeam, ADA, CSI Bridge, or structural modeling software is an asset;
- Technical rigor, curiosity, team spirit, and ability to learn in a multidisciplinary project environment.
