Location: ADE Blainville – 926 Boul Du Curé-Labelle, Blainville, QC J7C 2L7
Schedule: 4- or 5-day work week (32 to 40 hours per week)
Salary: MFA payscale $25.78 to $34.44/ hour based on experience
Vacation & PTO: 4-6% vacation & additional paid time off (4-6 weeks of total PTO per year)

Position Overview
We are seeking qualified Early Childhood Educators to join our team of passionate professionals. This is an on-site teaching role in our subsidized preschool program, where educators play a key role in supporting daily routines, fostering learning through play, and contributing to a collaborative team culture.
Core Responsibilities
- Deliver developmentally appropriate, play-based programming aligned with ADE’s curriculum and COR developmental framework
- Maintain an organized, beautiful classroom environment reflecting ADE’s philosophy
- Facilitate small group workshops and support daily classroom routines with consistency and intention
- Maintain a safe, engaging, and organized classroom environment
- Collaborate with colleagues and the Director to support a positive, child-centered learning environment
- Utilize Brightwheel to document learning and communicate effectively with families
- Participate in team planning sessions, professional development, and school-wide initiatives
Qualifications & Requirements
- Recognized diploma in Early Childhood Education (DEC, AEC, Bachelor’s degree or equivalent) or currently in progress
- Qualified educator status under MFA regulations (Or non-qualified on the pathway)
- Experience in a preschool, daycare, or CPE setting (an asset)
- Strong understanding of child development and inclusive practices
- Team-oriented, dependable, and proactive in the classroom
- Bilingualism (English and French) is considered an asset
- First aid certification (8 hour course for daycare settings including anaphylaxis)
- Police background check (for vulnerable population)
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly wage based on MFA salary scale (according to qualifications and years of experience)
- Choice of a 4- or 5-day work week (32 to 40 hours/week)
- Government pension, paid sick days, and statutory holidays
- 4–6% vacation pay and 1-3 weeks PTO (up to 6 weeks of total paid time off per year)
