Technical Construction Advisor

The Technical Construction Advisor supports self-builders in the realization of their construction projects, from the idea stage to project completion. Acting as a technical reference, this person analyzes clients' needs, recommends appropriate structural building materials, and ensures the sale of materials required for the realization of the projects, primarily for the structure (frame), excluding interior finishes.

Main Responsibilities

• Welcome and advise self-builders on their construction projects (patios, cabins, garages, houses, expansions, etc.)
• Analyze clients' needs based on plans, sketches, or project ideas
• Recommend appropriate structural building materials (wood, beams, walls, floors, roofs, etc.)
• Prepare detailed and precise quotations for the required materials
• Ensure the sale of materials and follow-up on orders
• Accompany clients throughout the project and answer their technical questions
• Provide quality customer service and contribute to customer satisfaction and loyalty
• Answer at the customer counter when necessary

Skills and Knowledge

• Excellent knowledge of construction materials and structural components
• Good understanding of the stages of a residential construction project
• Ability to read and interpret plans (asset)
• Sales and customer service skills
• Autonomy and good management of priorities
