What awaits you on a daily basis

• Analyze geospatial files and various tasks on government references (addressing, hydrography, altimetry, road network, etc.).
• Analyze and validate vector entities against multiple visual supports.
• Index and search for vector and matrix data in a database and perform quality control.
• Compensation

We offer you a minimum hourly rate of 27.19 $. ** A 6.5% surcharge is added to this rate to compensate for certain social benefits.

Schedule

In addition to working during the day, Monday to Friday, you could enjoy adapted schedules, promoting the conciliation between your work, studies, and personal life :

• *Regular schedule of 14 hours/week during study sessions;*
• *Schedule of 21 hours/week during reading weeks;*
• *Schedule of 35 hours/week during the summer and holiday period.*

Hybrid remote work is possible, depending on organizational tags.

Desired profile and application procedures

Here is the profile we are looking for

To hold a student job in the public service, you must be enrolled full-time in a first-cycle university-level program (or part-time if you are in the penultimate or final session of your studies) in one of the following fields :

• BACC in geography
• BACC in geomatics
• BACC in geomatic sciences
• BACC in forestry

More specifically, we are looking for a motivated student, eager to learn, and who demonstrates :

• An interest in cartography/geomatics.
• A concern for detail.
• Autonomy.
• Additionally, this person must :
• Have appropriate French knowledge for the job assignments.
• Be legally authorized to work in Canada.
• Ready to take action?
