Under the supervision of the Chief Director of Maintenance, the refrigeration mechanic is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and proper functioning of the factory's refrigeration systems. They ensure the maintenance of the required temperatures for production operations while adhering to health and safety, quality, and food safety standards.

Main Responsibilities

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on refrigeration equipment.

Diagnose malfunctions and perform necessary repairs.

Monitor the operation of refrigeration installations and intervene in case of anomalies.

Participate in improving equipment reliability.

Complete maintenance reports and work orders.

Adhere to health and safety, quality, and food safety policies and procedures.

Collaborate with other maintenance team members and various departments of the factory.

Qualifications

DEP in refrigeration or equivalent training.

Valid certification of qualification, when required.

Experience in industrial refrigeration, an asset.
