In the restructuring and insolvency team , happiness at work is cultivated every day, through simple but meaningful gestures: pleasant workspaces, convivial moments, attentive listening, and sincere recognition of everyone's efforts.

This position is offered either at the Brossard or Quebec office, in a hybrid format, 2 days per week in person and 3 days remote work . Note that remote work remains optional according to business needs.

As a Specialist in File Management - Consumer Insolvency at RCGT, you will be responsible for:

  • Taking charge of the files assigned to you, analyzing and ensuring the progress of the file;
  • Showing empathy, listening, and securing the client by adapting your approach to their state of mind;
  • Conducting court appearances for hearings and requests;
  • Following delinquent files and managing debtor releases;
  • Managing assets that must be realized by the trustee;
  • Communicating and negotiating with different stakeholders (creditors, lawyers, representatives of financial institutions);
  • Effectively leading, taking charge of, and controlling the progress of meetings with clients (File follow-ups and consultation phases);
  • Establishing a quick trust and credibility with internal and external clients and creditors;
  • Analyzing, completing complex monthly average income calculations, and negotiating with debtors for the establishment of the payment obligation;
  • Respecting, knowing, and applying administrative and ethical rules as well as quality standards of the firm.

  • Bachelor's degree in administration or law or any other relevant education;
  • Relevant experience in the insolvency field, an asset;
  • ACPIR practical courses on insolvency consultations (CPCI) and bankruptcy administration, an asset;
  • Excellent organizational skills: priority management, diligence, efficiency, analytical spirit, curiosity, agility, and interpersonal flexibility;
  • Strong relational skills: customer service, team spirit, autonomy, leadership, and ability to work both independently and in a team;
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage stress;
  • Excellent French language skills, both oral and written;
  • Knowledge of the main areas of law related to insolvency (bankruptcy, securities, municipal, matrimonial, tax, and business law), including applicable laws and codes (LFI, C.c.Q., C.p.c., etc.);
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite tools and ease of learning new software, with the ability to adapt to a computerized environment.
