Contract Type: Permanent A career as an assistant in the Asset Management team at Banque Nationale is a role where your ability to work in synergy with clients and colleagues is highlighted. In this role, you will assist wealth advisors in standing out by providing exceptional customer service, thereby having a positive long-term impact on our clients.

Your Role

  • Ensure client contact with rigor and professionalism. Quickly identify and solve issues, or suggest solution paths
  • Work closely with the advisor, team members, and internal and external partners to provide outstanding and personalized customer service
  • Coordinate the advisor's schedule, book appointments, prepare client meetings, and follow up on actions to be taken
  • Assist the advisor in the account opening process and updating client files
  • Perform routine operations and administrative tasks while ensuring compliance with regulations
  • Participate in keeping client documentation and annual reports up to date
  • Contribute to business development by identifying clients' additional needs. Refer clients to team members or partners to meet their needs
  • Participate in the continuous improvement and development of operational processes
  • Perform other tasks related to customer service, advisor development, and practice
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and risk management rules
  • Stay vigilant regarding cybersecurity to prevent fraud risks

Banque Nationale's Asset Management is the fifth-largest securities brokerage firm in Canada by size. We have approximately 1,000 wealth advisors managing the assets of over 400,000 clients across about 100 branches. Requirements

  • Completed college diploma in a field relevant to the industry
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a relevant field such as banking operations, customer service, or an administrative role
  • Interest in asset management
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal relationship skills
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Sense of organization and priority management
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, demanding, and sometimes time-sensitive environment
  • Self-motivated and enjoy continuous learning
  • Work with rigor and attention to detail
  • Enjoy teamwork
