What awaits you on a daily basis

  • Assist professionals in the completion of acquisition mandates.
  • Analyze and validate information contained in the contracts database.
  • Validate digitized aerial photographs using geomatics tools.
  • Compensation

We offer you a minimum hourly rate of 27.19 $. A 6.5% surcharge is added to this rate to compensate for certain social benefits.

Schedule

In addition to working during the day, Monday to Friday, you could enjoy adapted schedules, favoring the conciliation between your work, studies, and personal life:

  • *Regular schedule of 14 hours/week during study sessions;
  • *Schedule of 21 hours/week during reading weeks;
  • *Schedule of 35 hours/week during the summer and holiday period.*

Hybrid remote work is possible, depending on organizational tags.

Desired profile and application details

Here is the profile we are looking for

To hold a student job in the public service, you must be enrolled full-time in a first-cycle university-level program (or part-time if you are in the penultimate or final session of your studies) in one of the following fields:

  • BACC in geography
  • BACC in geomatics
  • BACC in geomatic sciences
  • BACC in forestry

More specifically, we are looking for a motivated, eager-to-learn student who demonstrates:

  • Interest in cartography/geomatics
  • Attention to detail
  • Autonomy
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Additionally, this person must:
  • Have appropriate French knowledge for the job's responsibilities.
  • Be legally authorized to work in Canada.
