Functions and Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a trusted business relationship with your portfolio clients through proactive and regular communication
  • Act as an advisor to major clients, providing them with application, legislative, and technological support
  • Anticipate the current and future needs of the client base and recommend suitable solutions to optimize their experience
  • Identify development opportunities within your portfolio by presenting complementary modules (human resources, time management, self-service, etc.)
  • Coordinate solution presentations with product specialists and follow up throughout the sales cycle
  • Ensure communication between major clients, internal teams, and business partners to ensure an optimal customer experience
  • Document all interactions with clients, conduct annual satisfaction evaluations, and contribute to achieving the business unit's quality objectives
  • Keep your knowledge up-to-date on the evolution of our solutions and represent the needs of major clients to internal teams

Qualities Required for Success in This Role

  • College diploma in administration, accounting, or a related field, or any equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in the payroll field
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in client portfolio management or account management
  • Valid driver's license and availability for occasional client visits
  • Excellent ability to manage priorities, work under pressure, and meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical, synthesis, and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong adaptability, autonomy, and initiative
  • Strong client orientation and team spirit
  • Political acumen and ability to positively influence stakeholders
  • Knowledge of various payroll solutions
  • Good proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Excellent proficiency in both French and English, both spoken and written (essential)
  • Payroll Principles and Canadian Payroll Legislation courses from Cégep -Ahuntsic or Specialiste en conformité de la paie (SCP) certification from the Canadian Payroll Association (an asset)

CGI offers a reasonable salary range estimate for this position. The calculation of this range depends on various factors, including skill level, geographic market, experience, education, and professional licenses and certifications. Reward decisions depend on individual circumstances. A reasonable estimate of this salary range is between $70,000 and $115,000. This position is open.
