• Receive, verify, and process vendor invoices
• Reconcile purchase orders, receipts, and invoices
• Determine accounts to be debited and enter data into the accounting system accurately
• Prepare payments (cheques, bank transfers, electronic payments)
• Ensure compliance with payment deadlines and negotiated conditions with vendors
• Reconcile vendor account statements and resolve discrepancies
• Respond to vendor inquiries regarding payments or invoices
• Maintain up-to-date vendor files (contact information, payment terms, tax information, etc.)
• Collaborate with other departments (purchasing, receiving, etc.) to ensure the accuracy of transactions
• Perform all other related tasks

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALITIES

• Education in accounting, administration, or related field
• Experience in accounts payable is an asset
• Sense of organization and excellent priority management
• Rigor and attention to detail in data and document processing
• Autonomy and sense of responsibility
• Discretion and respect for the confidentiality of information
• Good communication skills
• Good knowledge of computer tools and Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel
• Knowledge of artificial intelligence tools is an asset
