Responsibilities

  • Provide full-cycle accounting services to MNP clients in a dynamic environment.
  • Offer strategic leadership services at various levels, such as monthly closings, accounting operations support, and ensuring their review and/or supervision.
  • Maintain, monitor, and reconcile general ledger accounts, including cash management, bank reconciliations, prepayments, accounts receivable, accounts payable, accruals, intercompany transactions, and uploads to a system.
  • Identify issues and errors, find the reason for discrepancies, consult with the manager or associate responsible for the assignment, and develop solutions.
  • Utilize your support and guidance capabilities in various projects, such as annual closings, mergers and acquisitions processes, system changes, internal procedure and process reviews, etc.
  • Support the preparation of internal and external financial statements.
  • Prepare and implement various financial reports, such as budgets, performance indicators, and dashboards.
  • Manage liquidity and ensure cost control.
  • Provide support and training to less experienced team members.
  • Track the progress of ongoing work, find opportunities outside the scope of assignments.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients and team members for collaboration purposes.
  • Be willing to travel, if necessary.

Skills and Experience

  • Certificate or diploma in business administration or accounting
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with the full accounting cycle
  • CPA designation obtained or in progress
  • Practical knowledge of basic accounting principles and processes
  • Experience with accounting software, an asset
