As an Insured Annuity Analyst, you will play a key role in the implementation of new insured annuity sales and the performance of administrative tasks related to their setup and administration.

What you will accomplish with us

As an Insured Annuity Analyst, you will collaborate on the implementation of new insured annuity sales and participate in the performance of administrative tasks. Here are the main responsibilities:

Implement new insured annuity contracts by analyzing and preparing data for loading into administrative systems;

Certify and validate data loaded into administrative systems with rigor;

Prepare welcome letters for new clients and perform mail merge activities in Word;

Process accounting transactions associated with the implementation of annuities, including receipts, journal entries, and sales-related transactions;

Perform actuarial calculations within the framework of insured annuity administration, including certain termination calculations with systems;

Participate in the improvement of computer tools and work processes;

Respond to client and business partner requests;

What could accelerate your success in this position

This position will allow you to leverage your teamwork skills, diligence, and business sense. We are looking for a person who: Has at least 2 years of relevant experience;

Holds a diploma in financial and insurance services, a bachelor's degree in administration, or any other relevant training;

Is recognized for their strong computer skills and excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Word and Excel;

Is recognized for their attention to detail and diligence;

Is capable of working on multiple files simultaneously and effectively managing priorities;

Possesses strong mathematical abilities;

Has knowledge of programming, an asset;

Has knowledge of insured annuities or defined benefit pension plans, an asset.

Advanced level of English language proficiency is required, as the person holding the position will be called upon to communicate in French and English, by email, phone, and videoconference, with internal and external unilingual English-speaking teams on a daily basis.
