As an Insurance Pension Analyst, you will play a key role in the implementation of new insurance pension sales and the performance of administrative tasks related to their setup and administration.

What you will accomplish with us

As an Insurance Pension Analyst, you will collaborate on the implementation of new insurance pension sales and participate in the performance of administrative tasks. Here are the main responsibilities:

  • Implement new insurance pension contracts by analyzing and preparing data for their loading into administrative systems;
  • Certify the data loaded into administrative systems and ensure their validation with rigor;
  • Prepare welcome letters for new clients and perform mail merge activities in Word;
  • Process the accounting transactions associated with the implementation of pensions, including receipts, accounting entries, and sales-related transactions;
  • Perform actuarial calculations as part of the administration of insurance pensions, particularly for certain termination calculations with the systems;
  • Participate in the improvement of computer tools and work processes;
  • Respond to customer and business partner requests;

This position will allow you to leverage your teamwork skills, your rigor, and your business sense. We are looking for a person who:

  • Has at least 2 years of relevant experience;
  • Holds a technical diploma in financial and insurance services, a bachelor's degree in administration, or any other relevant training;
  • Is recognized for their strong computer skills and excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Word and Excel;
  • Is recognized for their attention to detail and rigor;
  • Is capable of working on multiple files simultaneously and effectively managing priorities;
  • Possesses strong mathematical abilities;
  • Has knowledge of programming, an asset;
  • Has knowledge of insurance pensions or defined benefit pension plans, an asset.

Advanced English language proficiency is required, as the position holder will be called upon to communicate in French and English, by email, phone, and videoconference, with internal and external unilingual English-speaking teams on a daily basis.
