Journeyman(wo)man

GAM Welding and Machining is a company specialized in welding, machining, and custom piece manufacturing. Do you enjoy manual work and varied challenges? To support our growth, we are looking for two journeyman(wo)man to support our production activities in the welding and machining field.

*Your main responsibilities*

• Prepare metals for manufacturing,
• Operate the cutting table,
• Operate the numerical saw,
• Participate in the different stages of production: handling, grinding, folding, sanding, painting and other related tasks,
• Contribute to the proper management of inventory,
• Receive and unload deliveries,
• Pack products for shipment,
• Operate the overhead cranes, the forklift and the service truck (training offered),
• Perform any other task contributing to the proper functioning of the workshop.
• *We are looking for a person with the following profile*
• Reliable, responsible and concerned with working in a safe manner,
• Positive and capable of working both autonomously and in a team,
• Organized and resourceful,
• Comfortable with basic mathematical calculations and precise measurements,
• Possessing good judgment and a good work ethic.

→ Experience in a manufacturing environment or in the metallurgy field is an asset, but motivated and willing-to-learn candidates are also welcome.
