• Work Location - Lachine (Quebec)
• Hybrid Shift/Hours - 5 days on-site per week, Day Shift, Tuesday to Saturday from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM

About This Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for a Production Supervisor who wants to lead a team and optimize a large supply chain operation. As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for producing products using safe and efficient processes while supervising the production team. This opportunity is for our production center located in Lachine.

*Day Shift, Tuesday to Saturday from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM*

Responsibilities

• Manage employees, including schedules, absences, equipment allocation, training, evaluation, and development, and all other aspects related to managing a production team in a unionized environment.
• Support efficiency and key performance indicators
• Manage the manufacturing process, including mixing, filling, and packaging
• Perform root cause analysis on equipment breakdowns or operational stops that resulted in downtime
• Check the readiness of the production line at startup
• Manage the overall quality of packaging and products to meet all standards and specifications according to packaging and flavor norms at the best production cost

Skills

• Hold a bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience;
• Have a minimum of two (2) years of experience in a unionized manufacturing and production environment, with a minimum of two (2) years as a direct supervisor of a team;
• Experience in cleaning and sanitation will be considered an asset;
• Bilingualism in French (required) and English (an asset) both orally and in writing
• Understand good manufacturing practices (GMP), health and safety standards, risk analysis, and critical control points (HACCP), and ISO standards;
• Have excellent knowledge of principles related to continuous improvement and problem-solving and leadership performance tools;
• Possess intermediate computer skills and basic database application skills; SAP is an asset;
