Job Responsibilities
The Principal Associate, Private Banking provides support to one or more teams of Private Banking Advisors. The main responsibility of this position is to provide exceptional service to Private Banking clients by addressing their banking operations needs and information requests. The Principal Associate, Private Banking will promote and sell CIBC products and services to clients and address their general banking needs, including loans, mortgages, investments, or business loans.

How to Succeed
- Customer Service – Efficiently and quickly address clients' questions, concerns, or problems. Respond to the financial needs of existing clients when the Private Banking Advisor is not available (including the sale of high-value products and services in accordance with established guidelines).
- Operational Excellence – Answer incoming phone calls and client requests to process wire transfers, visa, tax, and bill payments, and ensure requests are met. Conduct complex account activity inquiries for clients.
- Sales Support – Support Private Banking Advisors in managing their portfolios by reviewing all client documents regarding compliance with bank regulations and policies. Coordinate communication with clients regarding the collection of financial information needed for credit renewals, reviews, and temporary overdraft protection. Monitor upcoming ... schedule and inform the Private Banking Advisor.
