Description

Leclair Group is looking for a meticulous and organized accounting clerk to join the team at Subaru Rive-Nord. By supporting the daily operations, this person plays an important role in the smooth functioning of the dealership.

With over 3,000 new and used vehicle sales per year, Subaru Rive-Nord offers a dynamic environment where each team member contributes directly to the success of the dealership.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily deposits by collecting documents from various departments and preparing bank deposits;
• Account for expense reports and wear reports;
• Prepare, account for, and file sales files, including commissions for sales representatives and the F&I department;
• Perform paid-outs and door purchases;
• Track expenses related to sales files;
• Perform daily accounting entries;
• Account for electronic transfers for the body shop;
• Perform discounts on new and used vehicle files;
• Reconcile various accounting ledgers;
• Perform any other related tasks.

Requirements

• Experience in automotive accounting, an asset;
• 5 years of experience in a similar role;
• Good understanding of accounting principles, including the concepts of debit and credit;
• Good proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets;
• Knowledge of Impak Net, an asset;
• Hold a valid driver's license to travel to the bank, if necessary, to make deposits.
