Summary
Koki Holdings America Co. (Formerly Hitachi Koki Canada) is looking for enthusiastic sales professionals for the role of Territory Account Executive position. Our account executives are the face of our brand working on the front-line with our distributors and retail partners and are responsible for ensuring strategic programs with these important customers. This Account Executive would direct and coordinate sales and marketing activities in Western Ontario Province for Metabo HPT and Metabo Power tools brand by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Promote and sell Power Tools including Accessories, Parts and Fasteners for a global brand
- Maintains complete sales and marketing ownership and responsibility for the customers in the assigned territory, with an expectation of continued profitable growth.
- Administers company sales and marketing policies. Develops short and long-range goals and objectives for territory
- Analyzes sales statistics to assist dealers in promoting sales
- Reviews market analysis to determine customer needs, volume potential, price schedules and discount rates, and develops territory sales campaigns to accommodate goals of company
- Develops and executes marketing plans and programs, both short and long range to ensure profit, growth and expansion of company products within assigned territory
- Represents Company at trade shows; Weekend work may be required.
- Confers with the IC Sales Manager and other administrative personnel to coordinate work efficiency between sales department and other sales related units
- Analyzes and controls expenditures of territory to conform to budgetary requirements
- Prepares monthly sales reports showing sales volume and potential sales
- Trains customer on the benefits of Metabo HPT Power tools products versus competitors
- Manages territory account base and prospecting potential new customers
- Keeps customers credit compliant and provides communication of any changes to current customer financial status
- Builds solid relationships with all customers within the designated territory
- Call upon national retail banners, independent vendors, jobsites, woodworking, metalworking and industrial manufactures
- Opportunities to present in the boardroom and also perform hands on practical demos
- Visit Job site
- Other duties may be assigned
Qualification Requirements
- University or College degree in Business Administration/Marketing or equivalent work experiences
- At least 3 years experience in a territory sales role
- Strong organizational skills with ability to plan and manage territory.
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Experienced in forecasting both sales and inventory requirements.
- A self-starter with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Possess a clean driving record and a valid driver’s license.
- Knowledge of power tools would be an asset.
- · Proficiency in computers (including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Candidate must be able to lift product-weighing max 65 lbs.
