Facilities Manager - Corporate Buildings F. Dufresne Group is currently looking for a Facilities Manager for our corporate buildings under the main director of construction and environment to ensure the reliability, safety, and sustainability of the buildings while supporting the continuity of operations. You will intervene at all stages of the asset lifecycle, from building condition analysis to investment planning and work tracking, in collaboration with internal and external partners.

What your daily routine will look like

  • Conduct technical audits of buildings (electromechanical systems, building envelope, specialized equipment) to assess their condition and risks;
  • Structure and maintain a comprehensive view of real estate assets using reliable data (maintenance history, inspections, interventions, and costs);
  • Develop preventive and corrective maintenance plans focused on performance, compliance, and asset lifespan extension;
  • Manage operational and asset maintenance budgets, including cost analysis and investment prioritization;
  • Negotiate, manage, and optimize service contracts (maintenance, inspections, specialized work);
  • Supervise renovation or equipment replacement work, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and ongoing operations;
  • Ensure regulatory compliance (building codes, health and safety standards, environmental requirements).

What you need to join us

  • College diploma in building engineering or equivalent training;
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in real estate asset management, building management, or infrastructure operation;
  • Excellent understanding of electromechanical systems (HVAC, electricity, fire safety, generators, etc.);
  • Availability for occasional travel within various sectors of Quebec and, occasionally, outside Quebec;
  • Strong communication skills and ability to interact with clients and stakeholders;
  • Solid skills in planning, analysis, and priority management;
  • Proficiency in French (oral and written) and functional English (oral and written)**.
