We are currently seeking a Process Director who will lead a team responsible for:
- Providing SUPPORT for manufacturing and assembly processes
- Supporting PRODUCT INDUSTRIALIZATION
- Demonstrating INNOVATION
- Your Responsibilities:
- Human:
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at work;
- Lead and ensure the performance of a team of scientists/engineers and specialized technicians;
- Organize available resources and plan future needs;
- Develop strategies to maintain healthy work relationships and a work environment that fosters respect, teamwork, and performance;
- Promote collaboration among different groups;
- Demonstrate and encourage a positive, results-oriented attitude.
- Technical:
- Respect, enforce, and evolve the quality system;
- Monitor production yields, propose, and follow-up on yield improvement projects;
- Ensure project deadlines are met while managing daily urgencies.
- Define, track daily, and advance Key Performance Indicators related to team operations;
- Report to the Management and Corporation;
- Utilize Six Sigma methodology in all activities and the group's activities, and promote this method;
- Financial:
- Work closely with stakeholders to evaluate investments to support company growth;
- Prepare necessary justifications to obtain approval for funding and purchases of new equipment. Track investment activation;
- Aim to achieve financial objectives by developing budgets and controlling costs;
- Miscellaneous:
- Perform other related tasks as needed
Your Qualifications
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Mechanical Engineering, with excellent semiconductor physics skills. Bachelor's degree is acceptable if the candidate has at least five (5) additional years of relevant experience;
- Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in the manufacturing or assembly of Silicon or III-V devices;
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in supervision;
- Basic knowledge of sensor and emitter physics fabricated on Silicon or III-V materials;
- Six Sigma certification, green belt essential (black belt training or certification is an asset);
- Project management training, knowledge, and experience;
- Fluent French (written and spoken) and good English communication skills (written and spoken);
