Your tasks and functions in a nutshell: You will be called upon to:
- Support the lawyers assigned to you and other professionals in the firm as needed;
- Plan and organize the work of lawyers based on schedules;
- Review, format, and/or modify various legal documents (correspondence, contracts, procedures, negotiation tables, etc.);
- Enter time sheets and expense accounts for professionals;
- Perform copies, authority books, briefcases, pieces, digitizations, etc.;
- Manage the schedules of assigned lawyers, communicate with various courts, arbitrators, medical experts, the opposing party, etc., particularly to set dates for hearings, medical expertises, preparatory conferences, and/or mediation dates;
- File documents in the computer system and physical files;
- Open files;
- Work as a team with other administrative staff members;
- Perform any other related tasks;

- Here’s what we require:
- Education in secretarial work, legal secretarial work, or equivalent (or equivalent work experience);
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a legal assistant (in labor and employment law, an asset);
- Bilingualism in English/French, both orally and in writing;
- Proficiency in Word (layout, styles, etc.) and PDF;
- Ability to write well without spelling errors;
- Concern for customer service, both internally and externally;
- Team spirit and initiative;
