Operations & Logistics Assistant Position - SAGUENAY - FULL-TIME

Alchemia Solutions is a company based in Saguenay specializing in the design and manufacturing of specialized equipment (alambics) for the distillation and extraction of aromatic and medicinal plants. It also offers consulting services, workshops, and scientific conferences for its clients located both in Quebec and internationally.

Your Challenge

Under the supervision of the Operations Director, you will occupy a key and versatile role at the heart of our activities. You will touch on both the logistics of shipping and the quality control of our devices, as well as support for our research and development (R&D) projects.

Your Daily Tasks

In collaboration with the Operations Director, the candidate will be required to:

• Production and Quality: Ensure the preparation, meticulous cleaning, and quality control of alambics before their delivery.
• Logistics and Transport: Take charge of the logistics of sending equipment during sales (secure packaging, preparation of customs and international transport documents).
• Operations Management: Track orders, supplies, and optimize the rotation of component stocks.
• Science and Innovation: Participate in distillation projects and collaborate on design projects in R&D.
• Support the team in all other related tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the business.

Desired Profile

• Hold a DEC in a relevant field (Industrial or Mechanical Engineering, Commerce or Transport Logistics Management, etc.) or an AEC (Transport or Logistics or Stock/Supply Management, etc.).
• Ability to effectively manage time and priorities.
• Knowledge of computer tools such as Excel, Word, etc.
• Enjoy manual work.
• Be versatile, flexible, and self-sufficient.

Working Conditions

• Location: Chicoutimi.
• Hours: 35 hours/week - full-time or possibility of part-time
• Salary: According to the candidate's experience
