Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Under the general supervision of the gluing machine operator, the packaging machine operator supports the team and feeds the gluing machine according to the various project specifications while maintaining good safety management of their environment.

Working Conditions

• Hourly wage of $23.16
• Day shift (Thursday, Friday, Saturday) or night shift (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday): 7:00
• AM to 7:00
• PM or 7:00
• PM to 7:00 AM, 3 days per week
• 36-hour workweek, but paid for 37.5 hours per week

Main Functions

• Move pallets using a forklift to bring them to the machines;
• Safely operate the ergolift to adjust the position of the placement on the gluing machine;
• Supply the machine with cardboard packages;
• Keep a constant watch on the screen or mirror to avoid jams in the gluing machine;
• Perform quality checks, according to the operator's recommendations;
• Check pallet cartons according to the production order numbers;
• Perform other related tasks as requested.
