About This Opportunity

You are responsible for planning maintenance activities for the entire production, facilities, equipment, and buildings of one of Coke Canada's manufacturing plants. You will support the maintenance team in assigning work orders and managing the preventive maintenance (PM) program and identify recurring maintenance issues. Under the supervision of the Maintenance Manager, you will work in coordination with all departments.

Responsibilities

• Review work requests and gather information to order parts and assign work orders correctly. Prepare a weekly schedule and lead the weekly planning meeting.
• Manage the preventive maintenance program: workload leveling, review PM effectiveness, participate in PM strategy development, establish and adjust PM frequencies, etc.
• Compile weekly compliance calendars and identify recurring maintenance issues.
• Maintain all files in an organized manner (properly marked, verified, and filed correctly) according to the file program.
• Proper use of SAP to assign, complete, and close PMs and work orders.
• Comply with all programs, requirements, and concepts of quality, food safety, GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices), and HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points).
• Maintain the maintenance service's key performance indicators and seek to improve the efficiency of assigned tasks.
• Conduct turnarounds, reconstructions, and short- and long-term equipment projects to meet business needs.
• Develop PM programs using TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) methodologies, maintain PM plans to keep them relevant and up-to-date.
• Work closely with the parts and procurement team members to ensure timely delivery of critical parts, supporting the team as needed.
• Locate and determine the device name, model, serial number, part or component number.
• Read and interpret mechanical electrical schematics.
• Communicate with the equipment manufacturer or suppliers to schedule work.
• Ensure all documents are completed and legible.
• Perform all other tasks assigned by the Maintenance Manager.

Skills

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required, preference for mechanical engineering or a similar engineering program.
• At least 2 years of experience as a Maintenance Planner.
• Strong analytical, mechanical, and electrical skills.
• Ability to build lasting relationships and work effectively in an interfunctional manner. Capacity to influence without direct authority.
• Certification with technical training (an asset).
• Strong computer skills and advanced practical knowledge of the SAP system.
