The Saint-Prime plant, located on Lake Saint-Jean, has specialized in the production of I-beams for nearly 20 years, primarily used in the joists of residential and commercial wood-frame constructions. Over time, we have adapted our product to the market by offering it in a variety of lengths, widths, and materials to differentiate ourselves from the competition. We rely on a team of approximately 80 experienced professionals. We encourage both individual effort and teamwork, mutual aid, as well as health and safety at work.
Our facility is looking for qualified individuals to fill a Human Resources Supervisor position. This is a permanent full-time position.

Working with the Human Resources team, the incumbent participates in achieving the organization's strategic objectives by focusing on the constant development of the organization, establishing and maintaining work relationships based on transparency, respect, and mutual trust, and providing employees with a stimulating work environment. Under the direction of the HR Supervisor of the division, your main responsibilities are:
Responsibilities
- Manage labor relations and promote modern management methods in industry.
- Contribute to maintaining harmonious work relationships with union representatives.
- Act as a resource person for employees regarding compensation, working conditions, etc.
- Advise and support senior staff in the administration and application of the collective agreement.
- Organize, coordinate, and control recruitment activities.
- Support the management team in their continuous improvement efforts, performance management, and value adherence.
- Plan the training needs of various employee categories and follow up on continuous training plans.
- Coordinate and participate in the onboarding and integration of employees and follow up on the probation period.
- Assist managers in work schedule planning, track attendance and absenteeism.
Your profile
- Bachelor's degree in industrial relations or human resources. Any combination of education and experience deemed relevant will be considered.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant human resources management experience (workplace relations experience is an asset).
- Ability to plan, organize, direct, and control with rigor, continuity, and cohesion.
- Proficiency in the Windows environment.
- Recognized for your ability to work in a team.
- Excellent written French skills.
