• Your role in achieving results:

Reporting to the Head of External Warehouse Operations, the Logistics Technician plays a key role in managing receptions, shipments, and order dispatch to external warehouses using various systems.

In close collaboration with the inventory team and transportation, they ensure the accuracy of transactions, lot allocation, and tracking of uncollected orders. They are also responsible for managing the dairy distribution center's warehouse management system for receptions, replenishments, and shipments, as well as welcoming drivers, while working with several internal Agropur teams.

• Execute and control reception and shipment transactions for external and internal warehouses
• Monitor delayed transactions
• Send orders to external warehouses
• Manage lots for internal orders
• Track uncollected orders with the transportation team and customer service
• Manage mail delivery system for sites under their responsibility
• Manage order priorities in the warehouse management system and organize replenishments
• Manage access control system and welcome drivers

What we are looking for to deliver these results

• DEC or BAC in administration, logistics, operations, or related field;
• Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.
• Proficiency in Office Suite (Excel, Outlook);
• Proficiency in inventory management systems, particularly SAP and Oracle, is a plus.
• Strong oral and written communication skills in French and English. (English required to work with colleagues and clients from other Canadian provinces).
