Job Purpose and Impact

Salary: Starting at $29.97

Hours: Day shift 6:30am to 3:00pm or evening shift 3:00pm to 11:30pm depending on the company's needs.

Full-time position

Main Responsibilities

• Ensures that the factory and yard are clean and safe for customers and employees
• Assists with inventory management
• Participates in training sessions and provincial and federal regulatory and compliance programs, including SIMDUT, forklifts, etc.
• Participates in regular factory inspections as well as monthly meetings to review procedures, housekeeping, and safety awareness.
• Produces, bags, and distributes feed intended for animal nutrition

Requirements

• Legally authorized to work in Canada
• Able to work in hot or cold conditions
• Willing to work overtime, including weekends and holidays, with notice
• Physically able to work with machinery

Assets

• Previous work experience in a manufacturing or factory environment
• Certification to operate a forklift
• Ability to work at heights
• Capacity to perform physical tasks that may include bending, lifting up to 50 pounds, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation
