The Production Operator – Evening will be responsible for supporting daily production. In this role, you will work in collaboration with the plant team to improve operations.
Salary: $27/hour with the possibility of increasing up to $33.25/hour based on acquired skills
Hours: Evening 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM

- Operate equipment and technological tools throughout the plant, which may include mixers, lots, mills, grinders, packers, weighers, palletizers, etc.
- Take product samples and manage reservoir levels, using computer systems to enter and record data when necessary.
- Manufacture products while ensuring they meet specifications.
- Work regularly with colleagues and management to pursue continuous improvement of plant operations and promote a teamwork-focused environment.
- Use mobile equipment such as forklifts, loaders, etc.
- Understand and adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
- Ensure the maintenance and cleaning of the plant.
- Comply with food safety standards.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Legally entitled to work for Cargill in Canada
- Minimum age of 18
- Ability to perform physical tasks that may include bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and being able to twist, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to work in varied conditions, both indoors and outdoors, including in heat, cold, dust, and noise, with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment
- Basic computer software knowledge
- Ability to work in elevated places (4 feet and above)
- Ability to understand and communicate in French (oral/written)
- Ability to work overtime, weekends, and different shifts with notice
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma/DES or a minimum of two years of equivalent professional experience
- Experience in production-related work
