Principal or Principal Consultant in Application Solutions Architecture, ITSM, ServiceNow

As a Principal or Principal Consultant in Application Solutions Architecture, ITSM, ServiceNow within the Operations and Deliveries Transition Management, you will be a key member of an Agile development team responsible for designing, testing, and maintaining our ServiceNow platform. In this role, you will assume a leadership and influence role with multiple business partners and solution architecture specialists in the context of strategic, complex, and innovative initiatives. You will contribute to ensuring a watch on the opportunities offered by new technologies and promote solutions that meet business needs. You will produce deliverables related to your domain within projects of varying operational and conceptual complexity, while capitalizing on the organization's architecture targets and promoted foundations. You will ensure the consistency of current solutions and the compatibility of new elements with the existing architecture (applications, products, or services, etc.). The nature of the projects covered requires extensive and in-depth expertise in several technological and/or business domains and the coverage of aspects related to data, applications, and infrastructure. More specifically, you will be required to:

• Act as a specialist consultant in the context of projects and development activities in solution architecture with significant scope and impact on the organization. Identify and prioritize projects that combine Business and Technology and support the security and IT strategies
• Advise and support specialists and business partners in the positioning, planning, development, implementation, and follow-up of technological solutions related to projects and initiatives under your responsibility
• Develop and evolve policies, standards, or technological solutions taking into account aspects related to data, applications, and infrastructure
• Target and analyze major issues and challenges. Establish diagnostics and make recommendations to the concerned parties
• Intervene and collaborate with teams in the strategies, implementation, and design of solutions according to the guidelines of Desjardins' Security Office
• Represent your unit to different stakeholders when required.

• Bachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline
• A minimum of six years of relevant experience, including five years as a solutions architect
• Please note that other combinations of education and relevant experience may be considered
• Knowledge of French is required
• Knowledge of English at an intermediate level due to the nature of the tasks, work tools, or interactions with English-speaking partners or members and clients
• Knowledge of ServiceNow
